No lower out of respect for Hina. My girl does a Gedo clutch and a Big Ending! Unfoutountly I didn’t get to see either of those things because Ram’s silly ass was throwing invisible ninja stars at people. Put some damn pants on!
Just a nice quality match to wash the Ram Kaicho taste out of my mouth. I love me some peaches.
Lady C is a superstar, Miyu had some fun moments, and Momo Watanabe did not mess around. I hate the oedo Tai spot where they throw people into the crowd and beat on their opponents for 10 minutes before the ref rings the bell. It’s really hokey and fake. Either call the match off or ring the bell and start counting ref!
FWC and Wing Gori, Two really good teams with lots of chemistry. Stars vs Stars added a fun element to the match and surprisingly it wasn’t Hazuki or Hanan that stole the show for me but a freaking Bear?! Koguma’s Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka splash from the top rope is a thing of beauty and FWC Buzz Lightyear-inspired gear looks really good on them….Hazuki is Pretty Cool.
Thekla’s portion of the match with Nanae was pretty fun with Thekla running her highspeed ass all around the ring. Hanako looked good when she was doing hard-hitting moves and clotheslines. She reminds me of our favorite Jumbo Princess at her best. But she definitely looked lost at times. And what is there to say about our fair lady Mai Sakurai. Everything she does is $$$ and her Elbow drop is a thing of beauty like everything else about her.
Really fun match. Saki Kashima wins with a Famouser! I’ll always pop for the best move in all of wrestling. Great promo afterward where Momma Saki tells Rina to keep her head up and keep growing as a wrestler in Oedo Tai and one day she’ll be the best. And before I could shed a tear while they hug, The young brat Rina snatches the mic and tells grandma of course she’ll be the best in Oedo Tai and she can shove off!!!
I really want to see Waka dance with Mina and Mariah May. She doesn’t even try anymore 🙁 Wakamania will forever be running wild in my heart Brother! Mina Shirakawa and Mariah May showed how they are the saving graces this floundering tag division has been DESPERATE for. CLUB VENUS IS HERE!!!! The Pineapple was actually pretty decent. The crowd LOVES them some Natsupoi. Pull the trigger on that one Rossy while the fires still hot. And Saori Anou is a fucking SUPERSTAR among Superstars. Everything she did looked different ad deliberate. Every time she was in the ring she controlled the pace and did things her way. I can compare it to Lebron James just dominating everything that happens on both sides of the court. That’s Saori. Whether she’s tagged in or directing traffic she’s always in control. Then like when Lebron goes to the bench the other team drops 30 on you. Or in this match, Saori tags out Waka starts dropping fairies on their heads. It was crazy. and things would go to hell. I could go on and on about how amazing Saori Anou is but I’m sure I’ll write another small novel the next time I watch her wrestle 🙂
Where do I even begin? I watched this match twice. The first time it started like all matches start. With me wanting to give it a high rating until stuff starts to annoy me. And it did. They did all the spots I hate. People running in and out without tags or the ref enforcing anything, People popping right back up after being dropped on their heads and then doing the same move to their opponent and now they’re both down, “Boo Yay: strikes where the wrestlers just let each other chop each other in the chest back and forth like morons. Stupid dives. Anything Tam calls wrestling. And by the end of this 28-minute slog that felt like an hour of just highspot after highspot with no reason for any of it. And that’s basically what it was. But after a second viewing. Mayu can’t have a bad match. Syuri is so much fun to watch. Maika and Mirai hit really hard but in a fun way, Not the way that I cringe and hope they don’t need a brain transplant like Shibata. Saya be doing Birb things. Suzu is meh, But the spot where Giulia wanted to clock her own teammate Tam Nakano in the face for all of us watching in the stands and at home made this a good match.
